I would prefer to teach in a classroom that had more educational technology in it. I think having technology provides the kids with a lot more learning opportunities and I think it helps teachers really teach more effectively. I think technology also helps the kids become more well rounded by teaching them things about using modern technology. I also believe that have technology makes learning more fun for the kids. There are tons and tons of technology as explained in chapter six, that can be made available to teachers and kids.

Chapter 11 homework
For audio technology, one traditional piece of audio media I could use in my classroom would be oral journals. I think those would be really cool for the children to use to create journals about their experiences in the classroom. Audio journals would be easier to take along on class trips and are easy to use. An emerging audio technology I would use Internet radio in my classroom. I think that would give my classroom a lot more variety in hearing about things that they normally wouldn't be able to. The students could listen to broadcasts from all around the world that they normally wouldn't be exposed to.

For visual technology, one traditional piece of visual media I would use in my classroom would be broadcast video. I could show my children informational TV shows or news casts that they wouldn't be able to see because they were in school. One piece of emerging technology I would like to have in my class would be digital video cameras. I think it would be fun to have the kids be able to video tape themselves doing projects and show them to the class. My Spanish class did that in high school and it was really fun to record our projects at home and then show the class.
